CITY OF EMERYVILLE: County Firefighters' Annual Holiday Toy Drive Goes Virtual This Year

Fire

City of Emeryville issued the following announcement on Nov. 26

This year, instead of collecting toys, Alameda County Firefighters will shift their focus to collecting money and coordinating the proceeds to nonprofits that can directly assist our community's children in a safe and healthy manner. A monetary collection will provide these families the comfort of their annual holiday traditions even during this unprecedented time.

Alameda County Firefighters look forward to partnering with you in a safe way to continue the spirit of giving while lessening exposure to COVID-19 throughout our community. .Alameda County Firefighters are dedicated to helping fulfill the needs of the community during this giving season but this cannot be done without your help!

Through love, generosity and the joy of giving, let's continue this beautiful holiday tradition and bring joy to the youngest members of our community while being safe, compliant, and generous!

Please visit their webpage to donate.
