City of Emeryville issued the following announcement on Jan. 7
Hearing- and speech-impaired members of the community, or those in a situation where it is too dangerous to dial 9-1-1, have another option as of today to call for help in an emergency.
- Location accuracy varies by carrier be prepared to give your location.
- Services may not be available if roaming.
- Photos and video can not be sent.
- At this time English only. Other languages are still in development.
