Newark Unified School District recently issued the following announcement.
Newark Unified School District is creating a “Graduate Profile” as part of its efforts to identify the characteristics and competencies of a NUSD graduate. Our goal is to develop a clear vision of how our community prepares its students to be successful adults in the 21st century, and autonomous individuals with multiple options of career, college readiness, and beyond. We hope to create a framework that rethinks, revises, and redesigns NUSD educational programs. This endeavor will help us best prepare our students to meaningfully compete and contribute in the 21st Century.
We would like to invite you to share your ideas through a collaborative meeting on Tuesday, January 12 at 5:30-7:00pm. This session is open to all Newark community members, business partners, and parents of Newark USD students. Registration is via the Google Form linked here.
